Carlow College, St. Patrick’s students now have the opportunity to apply for research fellowships to undertake a research Masters at the Institute of Technology Carlow. Final year students at Carlow College who are interested in pursuing a postgraduate degree by research at IT Carlow are invited to apply for a President’s Research Fellowship award. There are a total of five funded MA research projects which will be jointly supervised by staff in IT Carlow and staff in Carlow College. The internal application process for current IT Carlow students has now closed, however please note that applications are open to Carlow College students until the 10th of June.
While there are more than 40 funded research projects available across a broad range of disciplines, as noted above, there are five specific research proposals which will be jointly supervised. Students interested in particular topics are encouraged to contact the principal supervisor directly and email contact details are included in the booklet.
Candidates applying for the research fellowship should complete the attached application form and email it, together with a brief CV, to Dr. Brian Jackson, Head of Postgraduate Studies (email@example.com) before the closing date of 10th June 2020. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to participate in a short interview (via online platform).
