Student Supports

Our Student Supports Team are here to help you with each and every stage of your College journey. And by support, we don’t just mean academic support. So whether you are struggling with your academic studies or some more personal, our team are available with a friendly (and confidential) ear to listen, support and advise.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the transition to college or return to education, struggling to juggle your study and personal commitments or are just unsure how to access our range of student support, our LIRO is your first point of contact. Find out more about our LIRO service by clicking on this link Learner Information & Retention Officer.

If you have learning differences, a disability, long-term illness or any circumstances which might need individual consideration, our Academic Resource Office is here to help. PAWS Officer

Undeniably the most popular staff member on campus, our PAWS Officer Alfie is a registered Irish Therapy Dog and visits the Student Resource Building twice a week to help ease the stress and worries of students. All you have you do is look into his big, brown eyes and all your worries just float away. Come and meet Alfie in the Student Union every Monday and Thursday.
