Biography

Monica Dowling is Practice Placement Coordinator on the Applied Social Studies programme. She lectures in Clinical Supervision and Principles and Practice of Social Care. Her interests stem from practice as a youth worker, team leader and provider of training and education to adult learners. Viewing supervision as a place of learning, she has been involved in the development of supervision practice for the past twenty years. She has a long standing commitment to the education and professional development of workers. She is an accredited psychotherapist and supervisor.
