Christopher Mulhall graduated with a BA in Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care) in 2024 and is currently working as a Support Worker for De Paul, whilst completing add-on year to achieve the BA (Hons) in Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care) at Carlow College.
Positive Environment
After visiting the college and meeting the staff and current students on an open day I forgot all about other colleges. Everyone seemed happy and motivated, the staff were welcoming and I could tell it was a positive environment to study.
Placement Opportunities
The two separate work placements allowed me to gain valuable experience in different fields of social care and the lectures gave me the knowledge to reach my full potential as a social care worker.
Learning Experience
The staff at Carlow college are accommodating and played a vital role in helping me reach my full potential. The smaller classes and tutorial groups also allow for a more intimate learning experience where you feel heard and understood.
