Art Exhibition on display at Carlow College, St. Patrick’s

During this semester Carlow College, St. Patrick’s will exhibit the work of three local artists that explore the themes of place, ritual, spirituality, and cultural identity in the south east of Ireland today. The artists are: Anne Martin Walsh, Bridget Flannery, and Bob Frazier.  The exhibition is the third part of the Here Together: Architectures of Belief and Rhythms of Ritual (part one was the visit to sacred sites in March 2019; and part two was the subsequent podcast on the visit to the sacred sites which was produced by staff and students of TV and Media Productions I.T. Carlow).  The works by the three artist (paintings, stone and glass carvings, mixed media paintings, and photography) speak to the Here Together project and reflect on its themes in a unique and creative way.

The official launch of this creative display will take place in Cobden Hall on campus at 1.45pm on Monday 10th February. All are welcome to attend.
