Returning to Education – Mature Student Taster Day

Carlow College, St. Patrick’s invites those considering a return to education to join us for a morning to get a taste of college life.
Our Admissions and Student Supports staff will deliver information sessions on the CAO application process, managing finances, programmes of study, academic writing and the range of supports available.
Who is this event for?
This free event is open to anyone aged 23 and over who is considering a return to education.
It is particularly aimed at people who:
Are interested in returning to college and would like to see what college is all about
Have little or no previous experience of third level education
Are unemployed
May be early school leavers
Have had barriers preventing them from continuing in education previously
