As part of the South East Science Festival, Carlow College is hosting a Fast Fashion Awareness talk and workshop with The Useless Project on Wednesday, 13th November at 11am – 1pm.
Join Carlow College lecturers, Steph Hanlon & Dr Sarah Otten, along with the dynamic duo from The Useless Project for a talk and workshop exploring climate justice, fast fashion and how you can be more sustainable in your fashion choices.
The Useless Project helps people take steps toward more sustainable living through tutorials, workshops, tips on food waste prevention, reuse, secondhand and upcycled fashion for individuals, schools or businesses.
This workshop combines education and awareness-raising to work together towards more sustainable living. Â We explore climate justice and open a discussion about our favourite sustainable fashion brands in Ireland and beyond. Â We will also lead you in creating a poster for your next climate rally concluding with a Q&A session with the audienceÂ
