Last week, Carlow College, St Patrick’s welcomed more than 100 graduates and guests from all over Ireland, UK and USA for the Alumni Gathering event in Carlow.
The celebratory event, which brings together former Carlow College classmates to reconnect and engage was held on Friday, 25th August, and welcomed a diverse array of graduates from across 22 class years.
Attendees took part in a programme of events including a welcome reception, College strategic update and an entertaining keynote address from Lecturer in English & Creative Writing, Dr Derek Coyle who regaled attendees of stories from Carlow College over the year. Class photos were also taken for year groups in attendance.
This year’s Gathering was the first gathering of Carlow College humanities and social studies alumni since 2016. It is hoped that this will become an annual event.
