As a result of changes to the ticket and fare criteria for students and young adults, from June 7th, 2023, your college identity card will, unfortunately, no longer be acceptable
as a valid form of student ID.

From June 7th, we will be offering concession tickets at student/young adult fare rates to holders of Student and Young Adult (19-23) Leap cards only. All other forms of
student identification will no longer be acceptable.

There will, however, be a grace period up to September 1st, 2023, when your college identification card will still be acceptable on all services. During this time, students will
be advised to apply for either a Student or Young Adult Leap card, as appropriate, at leapcard.ie.

Holders of Student and Young Adult Leap cards are entitled to purchase tickets at half price fares on Bus Éireann and Expressway services. We would, therefore, encourage
all qualifying students & young adults to apply for these cards to avail of the best value in fares.

Please advise all staff and students at your college of the above change and update all notices re same before commencement of the new college term in September.
