Biography

I have been teaching politics, sociology and history in secondary, further, and higher education for the past twenty years.

I currently teach Politics & Society, History and CSPE at Maynooth Post Primary School, Co. Kildare and lecture on the Higher Diploma in Politics and Society programme at St Patrick’s, Carlow College. I am also a Politics & Society Subject Associate with the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST), a subject examiner with the State Examinations Commission and co-facilitate The Carlow College, Easter Politics & Society CPD workshop for teachers.

Research Interest

My current areas of interest are teacher education & training, evidence-based teaching practice and Continuous Professional Development.
