Lives and Afterlives: Reimagining St Patrick in Medieval Ireland

This lecture by Dr Elizabeth Dawson, lecturer in medieval history at Carlow College, St Patrick’s, examines the Hiberno-Latin Lives of Patrick (7th-11th cent.) for their individual and collective contribution to the cult of the saint. This lecture will mark the publication of Dr Dawson’s new book: Lives and Afterlives: The Hiberno-Latin Patrician Tradition 650-1100.
