Postgraduate Recognition of Prior Learning Application Form

Your claim for recognition of Prior Accredited Learning must be supported by:
•a copy of assessment transcripts for each year of your programme of study;
•a copy of the programme syllabus; and
•course description which includes whether full-time or part-time study, number of contact hours per week and learning outcomes.
Please submit ONE reference with this application form.
The reference is an integral and important part of the selection process and will guide the programme board in making decisions. Therefore it is important that your reference should possibly cover:
1.Suitability for the programme applied for
2.Intellectual qualities, including
a.Professional and educational developments to date.
Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency; this evidence must be submitted with this application form. Please see the English Language Requirements for Admissions for more details regarding English language qualifications and tests recognised by Carlow College, St. Patrick's.
Carlow College will accept learners from abroad, provided that the applicant does not require a study visa to come to Ireland to study. The programme does not accept foreign exchange learners.
