Introducing “Beyond the Blue Door – Voices of Carlow College”, a podcast series dedicated to exploring the diverse experiences of students within the Carlow College community.
“Beyond the Blue Door” delves into the trials, triumphs and transformations of college life, offering listeners a candid and insightful look at each student’s unique experiences. From navigating academic challenges to forging lifelong friendships, each episode presents a rich tapestry of narratives that capture the essence of the college journey.
Hosted by Nerilie Duffey, Digital Communications & Marketing Manager at Carlow College, “Beyond the Blue Door” features in-depth interviews with students from across the range of courses offered at Carlow College.
“We believe that every student’s story is unique and worth sharing,” says Nerilie. “Through this podcast, we hope to showcase the diverse voices and experiences within the Carlow College community, providing a platform for those considering third-level education to hear directly from students to inspire others on their own academic journeys.”
The first episode launched on World Book Day on the 7th March and featured third year English & History student, John Francois. In this episode, John talks about how his family history inspired him to return to education as a mature student.
