Carlow College is pleased to announce its successful application for the Erasmus Charter in Higher Education (ECHE).
The review panel for the application noted that ‘this Charter will allow Carlow College to begin developing strong links with institutions and organisations across Europe to promote both staff and student mobility.’
Erasmus+ is the EU Programme for education, training, youth and sport, with the three key priorities of:
- inclusion and diversity
- digital transformation
- environment and the fight against climate change.
This Charter will also allow Carlow College to apply for EU funding under EU calls.
33 Irish HEIs now possess an ECHE – the highest number since the Erasmus programme began in 1987.
