DESCRIPTION:As part of the South East Science Festival, Carlow College is hosting a Fast Fashion Awareness talk and workshop with The Useless Project on Wednesday, 13th November at 11am – 1pm.\nJoin Carlow College lecturers, Steph Hanlon & Dr Sarah Otten, along with the dynamic duo from The Useless Project for a talk and workshop exploring climate justice, fast fashion and how you can be more sustainable in your fashion choices.\nThe Useless Project helps people take steps toward more sustainable living through tutorials, workshops, tips on food waste prevention, reuse, secondhand and upcycled fashion for individuals, schools or businesses.\nThis workshop combines education and awareness-raising to work together towards more sustainable living.  We explore climate justice and open a discussion about our favourite sustainable fashion brands in Ireland and beyond.  We will also lead you in creating a poster for your next climate rally concluding with a Q&A session with the audience \nVenue: James Doyle Room, Carlow College\nFree to attend, but registration essential below.\n
