SUMMARY:Staff V Students Soccer Match
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again, the annual  Staff V Students soccer event. It will take place on Monday 25th March during convocation time (1.15pm approx.)  This year we will be joined by a number of our soccer team alumni who will play on the staff team against the college team. Food will be provided in the Dining Hall afterwards. There will be a guest referee, and team managers are Sabrina Hurley for staff, and Michael Sherman for students. Donation of €5 to take part and donation boxes will also be provided on the day. \nWe will be doing “Guess the Ref!!” in the days running up to the match at €1 a guess, sheets will be in the dining hall and LIRO office from tomorrow, and at the student service help desk in the main corridor on the afternoon of the 21st. Prize table will be set up in the dining hall and winner(s) will be announced after the match.\n \nThe two charities benefitting from this momentous event are Cancer Research in St Vincent’s Home – St. Vincent’s Foundation (stvincentsfoundation.ie) ( https://www.stvincentsfoundation.ie/ ) and Cry – Cardiac Risk in the Young ( https://cry.ie/ )  \n \nThere will also be a table quiz that night in Tully’s from 8pm. A table of 5 costs €5 and there will be prizes on the night.\n
