Areas of Interest
Dr Anne Coakley’s main research interests are on family, food and inter-generational supports in the context of employment, identity and sustainable local communities. Recent publications examine the impact of austerity on family support policies in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Current research activity includes exploring the lives of women musicians in local communities.
