A.C.C.S. stands for the Accumulation of Credits and Certification of Subjects. It is a scheme that allows part-time study of up to three subjects per year towards full Q.Q.I. Awards in a chosen area of study. These subjects are taken along with our full time students during the day,

Fees

A.C.C.S. fees for the 2016/2017 academic year are as follows: 10 credit module (€320); 5 credit module (€175); Examination fee* (per subject) (€50). A discount is available to students in receipt of a social welfare payment and/or students with disabilities. Students are required to provide proof of same.
*Please note that students have the option to sit accredited Q.Q.I. examinations. Please indicate whether you intend to sit examinations on your application form.

Fees and Refund Policy

Fees & Refund Policy Course fees are expected to be paid in full at the commencement of the course. Carlow College recognises that some students may have difficulties in paying the full amount in one transaction; therefore, a phased payment option may be arranged subject to certain terms. All such applications will be treated in confidence.
Carlow College has a strict policy in relation to the refund of course fees: a full refund will be given if requested in writing before the commencement of the course.
