The Minister for Higher Education, Mary Mitchell O’Connor made a private visit to Carlow College, St Patrick’s on Monday 30th April.The Minister had lunch with Fr Conn Ó Maoldhomhnaigh, College President and had an opportunity to meet with some staff and students of the College followed by a tour of the College campus.

The Carmarthen Symphonic Wind Band will perform in Carlow College, St. Patrick’s Dining Hall for a lunch time concert recital on Thursday, 12 April, from 1pm- 2pm. This ever popular band return to Carlow as part of the very successful Pan Celtic Festival. The band will play in the College in support of the Students' Union, Student Hardship Fund.There will also be a cake sale and a raffle before and after the concert to help raise funds.

As part of this agreement, the educational experience and cross-cultural understanding of faculty and students at both institutions will be enhanced.
