Dr Candice Condon completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick. Her main interests are in the areas of shared memory, conformity, interpersonal relationships, trust, and more broadly, cognitive psychology, social psychology and social statistics. She was awarded a First Class Honours degree in psychology from WIT and a First Class Honours M.Sc. degree from the University of Limerick. She completed her postdoctoral research in cognitive impairment at the Medical School, University of Limerick. She secured highly competitive funding for her research from the Irish Research Council (Humanities and Social Sciences), the Health Research Board and was also awarded a Ph.D. scholarship for academic excellence by the University of Limerick. She has published articles in psychology and presented her research findings at numerous academic conferences in Ireland, Europe and the United States. She has ongoing collaboration with researchers at the HSE, University of Limerick and St. Xavier University (Illinois). She has previously taught at the University of Limerick where she also completed the Specialist Diploma in Education for Third Level Lecturers and Researchers.
