Past Graduate Fr Tommy Conway brings US group from Mississippi to visit Carlow College

Photography Exhibition and launch of ‘Free Rohingya Coalition Ireland’ (FRCI)

The Lord Mayor of Dublin Micheal Mac Donncha hosted a photography exhibition on Saturday May 19th at the Mansion House titled ‘A walk through the persecutions of Rohingya in Burma and the situations of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh’. The photographs, taken by Mohammed Rafique, document the persecutions of the Rohingya in Myanmar and the situation of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. The exhibition was organised by the Rohingya Community Carlow, Carlow College St Patricks, Carlow County Development Partnership and the TUI. 

Fr Conn attends Presentation College Student Council Launch

The pupils at Presentation College, Carlow officially launched their Student Council on March 23rd.  The students welcomed special guests, Senator Jennifer Murnane O’Connor, Fr Conn O’Maoldomhnaigh, Chairperson of the Board of Management and Mr Gerry Watchorn, Ceist Co-ordinator. 

Minister for Higher Education, Mary Mitchell O’Connor visits Carlow College

The Minister for Higher Education, Mary Mitchell O’Connor made a private visit to Carlow College, St Patrick’s on Monday 30th April.The Minister had lunch with Fr Conn Ó Maoldhomhnaigh, College President and had an opportunity to meet with some staff and students of the College followed by a tour of the College campus.
