The Carmarthen Symphonic Wind Band will perform in Carlow College, St. Patrick’s Dining Hall for a lunch time concert recital on Thursday, 12 April, from 1pm- 2pm. This ever popular band return to Carlow as part of the very successful Pan Celtic Festival. The band will play in the College in support of the Students' Union, Student Hardship Fund. There will also be a cake sale and a raffle before and after the concert to help raise funds.
The Carmarthen Symphonic Wind Band play a very popular mix, from classical to pop, from Tchaikovsky to Tom Jones! They will begin by marching from the Liberty Tree fountain in the centre of Carlow town and down Tullow Street and into the Carlow College,St. Patrick's.
